Glazing

Unless stated otherwise, we will use our regular 2mm float glass as standard for your framing job. However, if you would like any other type of glass or perspex we offer a range of different glazing options such as;

Artglass AR70 & AR92

Previously known as “Artglass WW”, this glass is an anti-reflective glass which reduces unwanted residual reflections 8 times less than regular glass and blocks 70% of UV light.

The AR92 was previously known as “Artglass WW UV90” and is the perfect balance between UV protection (blocking 92% of UV light”  and clarity (with <1% reflection).

Museum Glass

When it comes to glazing, this glass is unmatched, providing the highest levels of UV filtrations (99%) this is the most premium product when it comes to protecting your valuable artwork.

Perspex (Clear Styrene)

A thin, clear, relatively brittle plastic - If you wanted perspex this would used instead of regular glass.

Non-Relective Styrene

This perspex has a chemically etched diffused face to give a plastic alternative to the AR70 for the brighter areas of your home.

Artglass AR99 Acrylic

A strong, clear acrylic with a UV blocking coating absorbing 99% of Uv radiation, as well as an anti-reflective coating and a scratch resistant coating.
